How was life?

What was the moment, you realised you were not okay?

What was the moment, you realised you were alone?

What happened, that you realised this isn’t normal?

What happened, that you begin to think?

All these years of dark thinking,

When did it begin?

All these years of lonely feeling,

Where did it begin?

How was life, before the darkness dropped?

How was life, when you could still see the sun?

How was life?

Starting a new life

HELLOO I’m back!

There’s a lot what happened last weeks/months, I started studying applied psychology and I’m living alone now. So far I really like it!

The first week started with an introduction day. I went with the bus and the bus came too late so i was stressing sooo much because i never come too late and now i would come too late on the FIRST day. That was a real nightmare for me. And I started pretending all the scenarios that could happen. People could get angry, or I could be exactly too late so everyone would be at their class already and I wouldn’t know where to go and miss even more. BUT I was only 2 minutes too late and when I came in the building everyone stood in lines, so I joined them and everyone had to say their name and we got our class number. Then they send us to a place were we just had to wait an hour till they would send  us to the right class. And everyone was talking and I thought I was the only one who didn’t know anyone so I just stared at the floor for a while and then I saw another girl who also stared at the floor and when she looked up she smiled at me. After that we just looked at eachother and smiled every 2 minutes and then I thought: oke whatever! And I started talking XD You could see the relief on her face that finally something happened… We talked for a while and then they told us were to go. I have a nice class, the people are really kind and funny!

The next day we immediatly started with a project. We have to make a campaign for obese children to live healthier. We are in the third week now and so far it’s going well!

We also got a class were we have to learn how to keep good conversations, that can be really useful for me ^^ It’s a little scary because we have to talk with others all the time but it’s also really nice! So far my favorite class 😊

These weeks were really nice and I’m really excited about it! I hope it will stay like this^^

Hi everyone!

At the moment I’m in ITALY! WOOOO!  We drove in two days, through Germany and France, in France we slept one night in a small hotel. It was just a room with 3 beds haha, but we had a place to sleep, that’s all we needed. The next day we woke up really early and drove through Switzerland. I’m used to the flat landscape of Holland, where we have NO moutains. So the views I got in Switzerland were amazing. We stopped a few times and I even stood with my bare feet in the snow!

Everything was so so beautiful!

Around 13:00 h we arrived on the camping were we first had to wait before we could go in our tiny wooden tent/house. We spent the rest of the day swimming in the lake and pool and making everything ready in our house. It was a really hot day but oooh it was so beautiful.. I’m in love❤

Oke so.. Hi everyone!

So blogging… it’s really hard for me.. I love to read all your posts and stories and I wish I could write like that. But I found out it’s really hard for me to express my thoughts. In my head everything sounds so much better haha. But it’s just so difficult to write my opinion, because.. people will read it aaaaa.. Well ye, I know, that’s the whole thing with blogs… The truth is, for a couple of years I told myself:

”If I don’t say anything, at least I can’t say anything wrong.”

So, I was always the quiet and boring girl… But last year everything changed. I met some people online who helped me accept myself more and now I can be more myself. And yes, I fail sometimes, but I guess that’s oke? We are secretly all weird people and we all do stupid things.

What I wanted to say was, I want to write betterrr. I guess I just have to practise more. (And I will, I promise!) Also, English is very difficult. Like.. very very difficult. And I don’t really know what to write about, because I don’t know what’s interesting for others to read. But next week I’m going to Italy (WOOOO) so I will get some inspiration there I guess.

I just wanted to express my frustration so.. ejfdkjwefikfev XD

Have a good day everyone 😉

The “What do I think about Art” Tag

Hello peopleee

I haven’t been on WordPress for a while but I’m back with this amazing tag made by Mymindspeaksaloud.

Here are the rules:

  • Copy the piece of art given to you by your nominator into the post, as well as these rules
  • Analyse the piece of art given to you and what it means to you (you can be as abstract as you like)
  • Nominate 5 people to analyse another piece of art of your choice

This is the piece of art Mymindspeaksaloud gave me and the first thing that comes in my mind is for some reason: wearing a mask. The person get painted and with that he kind of wears a mask so you can’t see his real body.  But he doesn’t wear a mask because he IS the art. We are all art. Every person is a unique piece of art, painted in blue tones or not.

I love the colors that are used, even though they make it look a little cold. Like a statue made of ice. As if you want to stay away from it. Maybe the colors even cause an impersonal feeling. It kind of reminds me of dead. Like, imagine you are walking somewhere alone and then discover a weird path and you follow it and then you see that. A dead body covered in ice. Wouldn’t be the nicest thing to see on your walk…

Overall I would say it’s a cold painting that creates space between you and the art. Not only because of the cold colors, also because the attitude of the man.

My nominations:

Mrs S. LDN

So this is the piece of art I want you to analyse.. Im really curious what you are gonna say!

I love Regency books, so I would say: The Silent Governess by Julie Klassen.

Hmm.. I’ve never thought of a favorite painting… But I love paintings with something mysterious in it, something that can’t be real and what makes you think.

5. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Nice question 🙂 I don’t really have a favorite but just those moments where I was with my brothers and sister and we were just having fun and I didn’t had to care about the future or any problems.

6. Sunshine or drizzle?

7. What is your Myers-Briggs type?

8. Share any app that you’re obsessed with right now.

9. Have you ever watched a Korean drama?

10. Do you have a childhood friend that is still your friend now?

Yes, we don’t see eachother as much as we did then but we are still friends and it’s always nice to be together 😀

11. Any thoughts about the universe?

Not really… : (

I nominate:

So many people, So many stories

Yesterday before I went to bed, I stood in front of my window and saw a plane in the dark sky. Not that special, I see planes everyday, but this time was different. For the first time I was really wondering how the people were in that plane, where they would go to and where they came from… Maybe a big adventure was starting for them or maybe ending. So different from me, in my bedroom, closing my curtains so I could go to bed. But that’s how it always is with everyone. Everyone we see, or maybe don’t see, has a story we don’t know. Everyone has a different view of the world in their head. And there could be several books written about every persons life… Imagine you are walking in a big city, everywhere you look there are people and they all have a story. Doesn’t that make you curious?

5 things that make me happy

My first blog post is about 5 things that make me happy.

1.  Siblings

I have two amazing brothers and one amazing sister. They mean so much to me and I’m so proud that they are my family. They always make me happy and it doesnt matter what we are doing, I enjoy spending time with them. It’s nice to see what things we have in common and what things are really different. They are so good and nice to everyone, and i’m really grateful.

2. Music

I think (and hope) everyone likes music. When I’m walking and I listen to music it just feels like I’m not a part of this world anymore. I’m in my own world with my own thoughts. Music has a great impact on me, it can change my mood very quick.

3. Polka dots

I don’t know why, but dots make me sooo happy. It just makes everything cute!

4. Finding connections between different things

Sometimes I see or learn things about different things and find a connection. And then suddenly everything starts to make sense and everything gets a deeper meaning. That makes me really happy and enthusiastic and then I wanna learn more and more about it..

5. Sunshine

The moment the sun is shining through my window when I wake, it feels like it’s gonna be an amazing day. The sun gives me energy and I feel so much more motivated and happy when the sun shines.🌞

What about you? What makes you happy?

Sooo.. Hi! I’m a 17 year old girl who lives in the Netherlands. I like to write and since I know two great people with a blog, I wanted a blog too! I’ll write about dreams, thoughts, adventures and more random things… So, I hope you guys will like it!
